How it all Began...

With well over a million cards sold to date, we are often asked how we ever got started selling "knot cards". (We sometimes wonder the same thing!) Learn how, like many great products, our little knot cards were born out of necessity.

We offer four versions for fishing knots: our best selling Fisherman's Ultimate Knot Guide which has the ten best fishing knots and folds out to a 12 inch ruler, the Pro-Knot Fishing Knot cards which have twelve fishing knots in a six page “fan-pack” format, the Pro-Knot Fishing Knot Cards - Saltwater Edition, which feature twelve fishing knots including some knots commonly used in offshore fishing and the Pro-Knot Fly Fishing Knot Cards which is printed in full color and has favorite fly fishing knots.

The Pro-Knot Outdoor Knots fan pack features 23 essential rope knots printed on 6 waterproof plastic cards. The new Pro-Knot Knot Knot Tying Kit is very popular and in addition to one rope knot card, the Kit includes two lengths of practice cordage and two carabiners - one of which can be used to hange the cards from a backpack or key chain.. A nice review of Knot it!

Hey, John, I just recently picked up "knot it!" while shopping at my local REI. A few years ago I starting learning knots so I could become a better outdoorsman, but I kept finding that I would forget the knots when I needed them, even after practicing over and over. I guess knot-tying isn't in my blood. "knot it!" has really helped me to step up my game. The illustrations are perfect and I'm learning (and relearning) knots faster than I expected. Just a few minutes ago I found your website and saw that you even have knot-tying animations -- PERFECT! I'm definitely going to buy your iPhone app, since I always take my phone with me to the woods. Thanks for the amazing resource, I believe it's the first and last knot-tying reference anyone (or at least me) would ever need. Triple thumbs up, John.
